MTP: Episode 56

MTP-56

Hello and welcome to fall! Well, not so fast… How about we just say welcome to the end of summer. Yes, that’s better.

I love this time of year, where summer lingers, not knowing if it’s time to declare autumn in the official capacity, or to hang on to the last of the sunny afternoons and warm star-filled evenings. And, as if on cue, enter the Marking Time Podcast Episode 56 and its unique blend of songs for the season, presuming of course après été is really a season in the proper sense.

MTP:56 features some lovely musical offerings from Canada’s picturesque East Cost, courtesy of Rose Cousins and The Once, plus another gem from Edmonton diva Colleen Brown. We also dip down south of the 49th parallel and sample some tasty American acts as well: The Ocean Blue, Washed Out, Real Estate and Max Frost.

So grab a spot on the patio (and your favourite drink) and enjoy some real, grown-up music. You’ll be glad you did.
