MTP: Episode 97

Hello everyone and welcome to the latest instalment of the MTP.  It’s early September, which means it’s time for the Labour Day Long Weekend here in Canada and the US.  And that means it’s time for music.  #Realgrownupmusic in our case.  And we’re more than happy to deliver the goods.

The Marking Time Podcast Episode 97 clocks in at just over an hour and features 16 top-flight tracks to accompany all the various and sundry goings-on you can conjure up over the next three days. Heck, this show has legs to last well into the autumn, so pull up a camp chair, crack a cold one and get ready for some late summer fun.

And just so you know, we’ll be celebrating a few milestones in the weeks and months to come. September 22 marks our sixth anniversary and we’re also closing in on 10,000 visitors to the http://www.markingtime.ca web site too.  And just to further the pending excitement, our upcoming Episode 99 is slated for November and it will be one for the ages.  The number 99 will always be associated with The Great One, and we plan to use this special episode to honour amazing Canadian music in a big way.  So stay tuned and feel free to send us any ideas for that big playlist.

And finally, the MTP would like to encourage donations to the Hurricane Harvey relief fund via the Red Cross.  Click here to make a donation to those affected by this terrible tragedy.  As always, thanks for listening and enjoy the music!
