I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of Colleen Brown’s new album Dirt for quite a while, and I’m thrilled to finally be able to share a song with you this week. I’ve decided to open the show with the lead track Baby Blue Eyes. I know you’ll dig it as much as I do. And as an extra treat for all you CB fans here in Calgary, I’m also happy to announce she and her band are in town December 3 playing at the Palomino, so come down and support a truly amazing Alberta artist.

I’m also sending a shout-out to mi hermano de musica, Mark Beck, all the way back in Pittsburgh. Buddy, I was totally thinking of you when I decided to drop in The Clash this week. Hope you enjoy it!

So after much fanfare, here’s the link to Marking Time Podcast Episode 8 which you can click and listen or right click to download. Either way, pull up your boots and get ready for a great 60 minutes of real, grown-up music.
