MTP: Episode 25

Hello again everyone. I truly hope your summer has been as amazing as mine so far. In fact, I’ve been having so much fun with family, friends and lots of windshield time that I had to take a brief hiatus from the podcasting world. But never fear, I really think this one is worth the wait.

It’s my pleasure to present the Marking Time Podcast Episode 25 and to celebrate our latest milestone with a special show. This time around, I’ve packed a full 90 minutes of music into the program. But more than just the expanded playing time, I’ve created a special “all covers” format to celebrate our attaining the quarter-century mark, episodically speaking. As the old adage goes, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and performing a cover of someone else’s song surely ranks as the highest musical compliment.

As you can see from the playlist below, there are a lot of great songs from super artists across the musical spectrum. Some you’ll know, some you may not. Regardless, I think you’ll agree with me that special occasions deserve special music. So, lend and ear (or two) and enjoy the music! And if the spirit moves you, drop me an e-mail to mark@markingtime.ca and let me know how you’re enjoying the podcast. Peace!
