MTP: Episode 76

MTP-76Hello again everyone and welcome to 2016. I must say, as a music fan first and foremost, it’s been a very difficult start to the new year. The past week and a half have been filled with alternating loss and remembrance as we mark the passing of David Bowie. But in keeping with tradition, we dedicate the first show of the year to a look back at some of the best new recordings released in 2015. This January is no exception.

The Marking Time Podcast Episode 76 is a 90 minute celebration of the artists we featured prominently on the program throughout the previous 12 months. It’s not a countdown, but rather a special tribute to some of the most memorable sounds to grace the airwaves.

And in our own small way, we pay our respects to an absolute giant in music, art and popular culture by featuring the track “Lazarus” to close the program. I hope you treasure your own memories of David’s one-of-a-kind sound and vision for many years to come.

As always, thanks for listening enjoy the music.
