Howdy folks and welcome to the Marking Time Podcast Episode 48. Now that the Olympics are squarely in the rearview, it’s time to get back to work. There’s a veritable plethora of new music out lately, and I’ve taken the opportunity to pull together a most excellent show for you this time out.

The MTP 48 features new songs from Roosevelt, Trails and Ways, Turin Brakes, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Suzanne Vega, Aqua Alta, Luscious Jackson, The Olms, The Starfolk and St. Lucia, just to drop a few names. Plus there are plenty of favourites from days past too, just to keep you honest.

So keep on trucking, musically speaking, and spread the gospel of real, grown-up music with your friends and fellow audiophiles. You’ll feel better and we will really appreciate it too. And don’t forget to follow us on Twitter or reach out via e-mail as the spirit moves you. Cheers!
